Chilanthropy - Relaxing "chilling" while being philanthropic. This is the whole idea behind the name. Just trying to do some good in the world and allowing yourself to relax by enjoying a candle...Creating a soothing space for yourself.

By donating 5% of our sale price to different environmental charities and organizations, we hope to offset the carbon footprint of use and production of our products. The charity is chosen based on the theme of the candle and how it can help the indigenous area. These organizations have full access to our sales and tax records. After all, Chilanthropy was built for them...And you...

		The Esalen Institute Gazebo Park Pre-School teaches children to engage their minds and bodies in self-directed exploration with an outdoor eco-curriculum.

		The Juan de la Barrera Elementary School has a beautiful organic vegetable garden that the children help to tend.

		Inspired by massive bicycle usage in Barcelona, Chilanthropy supports Pedals for Progress - An organization rescuing bikes destined for landfills, and shipping them to 3rd world countries in need. Pedals also helps developing world economies by promoting self-sustaining bicycle repair businesses. How cool is that?

		Janine and Aislin were only nine when they founded Kids Saving the Rainforest along with the help of Janine's mother, Jennifer. Truly a story worth telling and a cause worthy of supporting. KSTR educates children about the rainforest, preserves Costa Rican rainforest land, and rehabilitates baby and injured animals in a wildlife sanctuary.

		MARTRA - The Mesoamerican Reef-to-Ridge Alliance works in many ways to protect this Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System, running from Isla Contoy in the Yucatan down to the Bay Islands of Honduras. MARTRA also educates local ridge communities on how to lower the ecological impact on the reef. This reef system is the 2nd largest in the world, and Chilanthropy is going to help keep this title.

		Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust protects the 100+ miles of lush forest trails from Seattle to Central Washington. By uniting the local community, the Greenway preserves this scenic route and provides breathing room for the evergrowing population. This stunning stretch between the Greenway is a National Scenic Byway, by the way...
